walk-in services

Bear Street Family Physicians is not a walk-in clinic, however we can often accommodate non-clinic patients (as well as current attached clinic patients) on a same-day basis.

Please call first thing in the morning to check if we have any walk-in appointments available for that day. We do not book non-clinic patients appointments for future dates, walk-ins are booked on a same-day basis ONLY.

We accept healthcare from all Canadian provinces, excluding Quebec. Unfortunately Quebec does not participate in reciprocal healthcare billing, therefore you will be required to pay for your visit, and apply for a reimbursement through Régie de l'assurance maladie du Québec/RAMQ. For any walk-ins without Canadian healthcare coverage, we are able to see you (if appointments are available), for a fee. Please call clinic to enquire. We do not accept travel insurance, therefore you are required to pay for your visit with the doctor and apply for a refund through your insurance provider.
